When will Android 16 arrive?

Samsung typically releases its official updates in April. So, while this year it has had to delay the release of One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 due to temporary issues, One UI 8 based on Android 16 is most likely to arrive in April 2026. Note that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series will be unveiled in the first quarter of next year (probably in February 2026) and they will be the first to arrive with Android 16.

The Asian manufacturer will also bring Android 16 to a number of Xiaomi phones, as well as models from its sub-brands POCO and Realme.
