OPPO has set a date for its next big announcement: the series Find X9 will be revealed on Thursday October 16 in China, a date that the brand itself announced on its official Weibo channel. The family will be aiming for a power boost with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 in all models and by a redesign of the photographic block.
The range will consist of two devices, Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, with a renewed look at the rear and the already known collaboration with HasselbladThey will come in four finishes: Matte Titanium, Green Titanium, Frost White and Matte Black, with a matte treatment that, according to the brand, enhances the crystal and softens the footprints.
Date and what the announcement will be like

The presentation will be held October 16 in China, where OPPO will reveal all the details of the series. The company has accompanied the announcement with promotional materials that already reveal the importance of the Dimensity 9500 chip and the new design language.
The brand's agenda also includes ColorOS 16, whose presentation is scheduled for the previous day. This strategy aims to first focus the conversation on user experience and fluidity to, the next day, show off the hardware that powers it. OPPO also notes that after the local launch there will be global availability at a later stage.
Models, design and finishes

The most visible change will be in the camera module: it adopts a square shape With rounded corners and curved edges, it's shifted to one side. It's a break from the large circle of the previous generation, maintaining a cleaner look without sacrificing its photographic ambition.
On screen, the standard model aims at 6,59 inches and the Pro to 6,78 inches, with a high-frequency OLED panel, very compact frames and a straight screen on four sides. The leaks mention bezels of 1,18 mm and 1.5K resolution for the X9, in addition to ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the panel.
The colors confirmed by the brand include Matte Titanium and Green Titanium, and Frost White and Matte Black. OPPO highlights a new "matte" finishing process that revitalizes the glass and, it promises, Improves touch and resistance to reflections.
Dimensity 9500: Architecture and Performance

The Find X9 series will integrate the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 across the board. This SoC debuts the 3rd generation All-Big-Core architecture, with a CPU composed of a 4,21 GHz ultra core, three premium cores and four high-performance cores. MediaTek estimates the improvements in up to 32% in single-core and 17% in multi-core.
In graphics, the new Arm G1-Ultra GPU promises up to a 33% more performance or with a 42% efficiency additional compared to the previous generation, with "console-level" ray tracing support. This should translate into smoother games at high FPS and more realistic visual effects.
OPPO will complement the chip with its Trinity engine, presented as the "first Unified Computing Power Model on Android." This approach models the CPU, GPU, and DSU at the system level to fine-tune consumption, with a energy prediction above 90% and specific optimizations for daily tasks, photography and gaming.
To sustain performance, the brand relies on a custom cooling system and in the news of ColorOS 16, which would take advantage of the Dimensity 9500 NPU for functions of On-device AI, smoother gestures and stability improvements.
Cameras and autonomy

The alliance OPPO–Hasselblad will continue to be present to fine-tune colorimetry and processing, with special attention to the night photography and zoom. A configuration with sensors of 50 SM for the main and ultra wide angle, plus a periscopic telephoto lens high resolution.
Among the data that has come to light is an X9 with four rear cameras (50+50+50+2 MP) and a front camera of 32 SM. In the Pro model, a 200 MP periscope, a bet that, if confirmed, would point to more usable portraits and zoom. Also being considered configurations with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
Autonomy will be another important focus: the Find X9 would be around 7.000 mAh and the X9 Pro would reach 7.500 mAh, with cable charging 80 W and wireless charging 50 W. For the Pro a thickness of 7,99 mm and a weight of around 224 grams, striking figures for a battery of that caliber.
With the date already set and the processor chosen, OPPO seeks to combine design, photography and performance in a series that arrives with aesthetic changes, updated colors and the push of the Dimensity 9500. If the battery, screen and charging forecasts hold true, everything points to a high-profile launch with a global vocation after the premiere in China.
