The new Galaxy S25 FE is now official and joins the catalog as the most accessible option in the S25 family, maintaining the spirit of the Fan Edition editions: much of what's important, at a more affordable price and without sacrificing the DNA of the high-end range.
With the latest Galaxy AI built on top of One UI 8, this model boasts multimodal AI features, advanced editing tools, and long-term support. It also comes with a promotional 6-month subscription to Google AI Pro and will be available starting September 4th in select markets.
Design and display
Samsung maintains the understated aesthetic of the S series with a slim 7,4mm body weighing 190 grams , crafted from Armor Aluminum for added rigidity and durability. Water and dust resistance is guaranteed by IP68 certification , in line with expectations for this range.
The screen is a 6,7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with FHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate between 60 and 120 Hz . It incorporates enhancements such as Vision Booster for more comfortable outdoor visibility and is protected by reinforced glass on both sides.
The terminal is sold in four finishes: Navy, Icy Blue, Jet Black and White , a sober palette very much in line with the FE line.
Performance and software with Galaxy AI
The brain is handled by the Exynos 2400 (4 nm) processor paired with the Xclipse 940 GPU, a combination designed to deliver smooth gameplay, multitasking, and background AI processes. To keep temperatures under control, Samsung has added a vapor chamber that's 10% larger , helping to sustain performance during demanding sessions.
Memory configurations start with 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128, 256, or 512 GB . There is no microSD card slot, which is typical for the S series. Connectivity options include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The software comes with Android 16 and One UI 8 , and the company promises seven years of system and security updates. AI features include Gemini Live (contextual conversations with visual support), Now Bar and Now Brief (useful information and daily summaries), and Circle to Search with Google , which allows users to search on-screen without switching apps.
Privacy and data protection are enhanced with Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) , the Personal Data Engine , and Knox Vault , creating isolated containers for sensitive information and strengthening encryption on the device itself.
Cameras and imaging tools
The camera setup features a triple-lens configuration: a 50MP main sensor with OIS , a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (123°), and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and stabilization. The front-facing camera is upgraded to 12MP and includes noise reduction improvements for cleaner selfies.
In video, the S25 FE can record up to 8K at 30 fps and comes with Super HDR for a wider dynamic range. The ProVisual Engine and AI features enhance Nightography and improve detail in complex scenes.
On-device editing takes a leap forward with Generative Editing (suggestions for removing distractions and filling backgrounds), Portrait Studio (more natural avatars), and Instant Slow Motion , which transforms any clip into slow motion with a tap.
For video audio, Audio Eraser helps isolate voices and reduce background noise, while Audio Trim speeds up the selection of the best clips when editing.
Battery, charging and connectivity
The battery life relies on a 4.900 mAh battery with 45W wired charging , capable of reaching around 65% in about 30 minutes with the compatible adapter. It also includes wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare to power other compatible devices.
In terms of biometric security, the smartphone integrates an under-display fingerprint reader and maintains a complete connectivity ecosystem with 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4, sufficient for cloud gaming, streaming and daily professional use.
Price and Availability
The Galaxy S25 FE is available in three options: 128GB for €759 , 256GB for €819 , and 512GB for €939 . It comes in Navy, Icy Blue, Jet Black, and White, and includes 6 months of Google AI Pro as a launch promotion.
With a proposition that combines a quality screen, a competent camera, useful AI, and a 7-year support , this model positions itself as the logical entry point to the Galaxy ecosystem for those seeking a balance between price and performance.
